ANDREW D. BOSSEN, M.D.
Dr. Bossen graduated from high school in Austin Texas, where he was also named a National Merit Scholar. He then attended Texas A&M University on a President’s Endowed Scholarship, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Science. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas A&M and complete his residency in ophthalmology at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple.
Dr. Bossen performed one of the highest volumes of cataract surgery among residents at Scott and White, where he also received superior training in the treatment of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
Dr. Bossen resides in Sherman, Texas with his wife Jennifer, son Drew, and daughter Bella Grace. He has been associated with RGB Eye Associates Doctors Robert G. Burlingame and William B. Plauche in Sherman since 2007. His ultimate goal is to live out the servitude of Jesus Christ in all that he does. Dr. Bossen specializes in the management and treatment of macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
